Veggie Nut Patties with Sunrise Sauce - copyright (c) 2003, 2008

Veggie-Nut Patties from Lose Weight with Live Foods

In a food processor place:

1/2cup walnuts
a small handful of pecans
2 medium carrots - cut in quarters
1/4 cup finely grated green cabbage
2 Tablespoons grated zucchini
1 green onion, sliced
1 teaspoon raisins
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
1 teaspoon ground chia seeds (Grind first, then measure 1 teaspoon.)
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

Process until well mixed. Form patties, then sprinkle paprika over each. Makes 4 small patties.

Free Labyrinth Pattern:

1. Make a cross. Draw imaginary or light, dotted lines around the cross to make a square. Then add 4 dots in the four corners of this "imaginary" square. (Later, children will be able to position the 4 dots without drawing a square, just by eyeballing it.)


2. Beginning at the top of the cross, draw a 'hill' or line up and curved around slightly as it moves toward the upper-right-hand dot, ending on the dot.
